Dairy-Free Dark Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Feb 11, 2025Are you a chocolate lover? I sure am!! These chocolate covered strawberries are SUPER easy! I used dairy-free baking gems from Hu Kitchen because they’re naturally sweetened with dates.
The full-fat coconut milk adds some creaminess and healthy fats to this tasty treat!
INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup Hu Kitchen Dark Chocolate Baking Gems
1-2 Tbsp coconut milk (be sure to use full-fat from a can)* see notes
DIRECTIONS
- Melt chocolate chips in a deep bowl and microwave at 15 second increments until melted, or melt in a small glass bowl over a pot of water on the stove.
- Add coconut milk and mix well.
- Dip strawberries in chocolate and place on a parchment-lined baking tray.
- Freeze for 10 minutes, or until chocolate hardens
- Enjoy!!
Notes:
* These are best eaten right away, but can be stored in the fridge for a day.
*1 Tbsp of coconut milk will give you a more solid chocolate coating, 2 will be softer and more creamy.
